How Torus performance tests are conducted, what is measured, and the variables and limitations that can affect individual results.
Test Method
Produce is weighed before juicing. Juice output is measured after extraction and elapsed juicing time is recorded. Relevant observations, including tamper use, clogging or other behaviour during the test, are recorded with the result. Supporting video provides a visual record of the procedure.
Video & Timing Method
Performance procedures are recorded continuously. Video may be accelerated where no information is lost, and a camera change may be used for the final pour or measurement. Reported juicing times are the actual elapsed times rather than the displayed video duration.
Variables & Limitations
Juice yield varies with produce freshness, variety, fibre and water content. Individual results are presented as measured and should not be interpreted as representative average yields. Multiple tests are required to establish representative performance across varying produce.

Torus currently offers two cold press juicer models with different designs and intended use characteristics.
Torus Solo Gen2
Current model. Horizontal cold press juicer with a 150 W motor, direct-flow anti-clog sieve, 5 cm feed opening and two speeds plus reverse. Particularly suited to celery, wheatgrass and fibrous greens, with a simple design intended for rapid assembly, disassembly and cleaning.

Torus Mouth
Current model. Vertical auto-feed cold press juicer with a 250 W motor and 145 mm self-feeding hopper. Designed to minimise produce preparation and manual feeding, making it particularly suited to convenient batch juicing.
